Student Attendance Policy
Mandatory Promotion Criteria: Minimum 80% Attendance
A minimum of 80% attendance across the academic year is mandatory for every student to be eligible for annual examination clearance and academic promotion to the next grade.
Key Attendance Regulations
-
Term Commencements & Closures
All students must attend school regularly. Students who are absent without prior authorized leave on the first and the last day of each academic term will be liable for a disciplinary fine.
-
Post-Vacation Reopening Reporting
Attendance on the official reopening day following Diwali, Dussehra, and Christmas vacations is compulsory for all grade levels.
-
Campus Departure Protocol
Students are strictly not allowed to leave the school premises during school hours without explicit written permission from the Principal.
-
Compulsory School Events
Attendance is mandatory for all official school functions, Independence Day, Republic Day, Sports Days, Science Exhibitions, Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs), special remedial classes, and educational field trips.
Health & Sick Leave Guidelines
A student who is unwell should remain at home until fully recovered. This ensures the student receives proper rest and medical care while safeguarding classmates from communicable infections.
If a student falls ill during school hours, the school infirmary will provide initial first aid and immediately contact the parents.
A student returning to school after an extended illness or absence must be accompanied by a parent on the first day, along with a formal medical certificate and leave application submitted to the class teacher.
